Description

After your canvas has been printed we custom-make a wooden frame and then stretch the rolled canvas over it. Our frames then ensure that each corner fold is perfectly smooth and tight. Your canvas is stapled to the back of the wooden frame and finished off with special framer's tape. Our frames are made with obeche wood, which is classified as hardwood despite being light in weight.

This wood is used because it does not warp easily. You can add a frame to your stretched canvas to give the illusion that the canvas is floating in the frame.

We leave a 5mm gap between the canvas and the frame to create a shadow effect. However, you can also frame your canvas without a gap so that it is flush with the edges. These frames are ready-made solutions for artists, photographers, retailers, and also for individuals interested in floating three-dimensional pieces in a tray frame. These frames are available in black, white, walnut and coffee bean.

Stretcher: 35mm high
Floating frame: 50mm high, 5mm from the front, framed with a 5mm gap or without
Wood: Sustainably sourced wood, this is stained either Black, white, Walnut or Coffee Bean
Size: The final product will be larger than your image size.
